The world of ninjas is riddled with wars. In Naruto, there were a total of four wars. All of these wars led to countless lives being los, with.each war starting due to the smallest difference in opinion. The wars also proved to be platforms for certain ninjas to make names for themselves.

These ninjas were respected within their own villages and feared by people of other villages. But, not all the ninjas were heralded as heroes, some of them went under the radar unfortunately and the chance of increasing their reputation never came.
Obito remained a villain for the majority of the series, however, once he met Naruto during the Fourth Great Ninja War, he realized that he had done many wrong things. Obito knew that he couldn”t make up for all the atrocities that he had committed, but he still wanted to spend his final few moments to do whatever he could to get rid of Madara and Kaguya. Obito saved Team 7, and without Team 7, Kaguya would have reigned supreme.
Minato was the hero of the Hidden Leaf during the Third Great Ninja War. Minato”s involvement in the Third Great Ninja War proved to be decisive for the Hidden Leaf. His space-time ninjutsu allowed him to repel waves of attacks by the enemies on his own. He would be given the moniker of “Yellow Flash of The Hidden Leaf.” Minato also confronted A and Killer B and got the better of them. His involvement in the war ensured that he would become the next Hokage of the Hidden Leaf.
Orochimaru”s role in the Fourth Great Ninja War was minimal, but it certainly shouldn”t have been overlooked. It was only due to his knowledge that the first four Hokage were able to return as reanimated ninjas. The four Hokage also saved the Shinobi Alliance countless times.
7 BECAME POPULAR: TSUNADE
The Sannin consisted of Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Tsunade. The three them trained of under Hiruzen Sarutobi, who was the Third Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. The Sannin shot to fame after they fought Hanzo of the Salamander.

Hanzo spared the three of them because he knew that they would become legendary figures in the future. Among the Sannin, Tsunade”s name was the most prominent. She was labeled the best medical ninja of all time. She even successfully created the antidotes for Chiyo”s poisons.
Sakumo Hatake is the father of Kakashi Hatake. He was known as the “White Fang of the Leaf.” His name became famous during the Second Great Ninja War. Sakumo killed Sasori”s parents during the war which would prove to be the decisive factor for Sasori joining the Akatsuki. Sakumo”s skills were considered to be on par with the legendary Sannin, however, his reputation was not quite on the same level. His reputation was tarnished when he chose to save his comrades instead of finishing the mission.
5 BECAME POPULAR: THIRD RAIKAGE
The Third Raikage is considered the strongest Raikage in the history of the Hidden Cloud. He was capable of fighting against Eight-Tails with his bare hands. His strength was out of this world and not many people could stand up to him.

During the Third Great Ninja War, he fought against ten thousand ninjas for three days and nights. The fight proved to be the end of the Third Raikage. The feat in itself was outstanding, and he further boosted the reputation of the Raikage.
Fugaku Uchiha is the father of Itachi and Sasuke. Being the leader of the Uchiha Clan, Fugaku had absolute control over all the clan members. Fugaku played an important role in securing the victory for the Hidden Leaf, however, his contribution was overlooked entirely. He wasn”t even selected as a candidate for the position of the Hokage. This behavior of the Leaf officials would prove fatal afterward.
3 BECAME POPULAR: KAKASHI HATAKE
Kakashi Hatake was an innate genius. From a very young age, he was competing against his elders, and became a Jonin when he was still a kid. He was involved in the Third Great Ninja War, and he proved to be a valuable asset to the Hidden Leaf. He earned the moniker of “Kakashi of the Sharingan,” during this time. Kakashi”s abilities left everyone around him in awe.
Sasuke Uchiha was one of the most important figures during the Fourth Great Ninja War, but only participated in the war because of his personal interests. After Team 7 successfully sealed Kaguya, Sasuke fought Naruto, however, he lost the fight. He was also imprisoned for quite some time for the outrageous deeds he had done.

Ever since he was a little boy, Naruto was loathed by his own villagers. He was considered a monster, but Naruto would prove all of them wrong. He was the key reason behind the success of the Shinobi Alliance during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Naruto got rid of several reanimated ninjas, made Obito change sides, and finally beat Kaguya Otsutsuki. After Kaguya was sealed, Naruto had one unfinished job and that was to defeat Sasuke and bring him back. Naruto also managed to achieve this objective.
