Understand the reason for left and right - just wondering why the front and rear would be different? Normally you would at least want to rotate the tires periodically front to rear.

This doesn"t make any sense. Just because you"re LHD or RHD doesn"t change the fact left is left and right is right. If it said drivers front driver rear I could see the confusion but this is basic...

People typically mark the last spot the wheels came off.. Not where they are to be put back on. Rotating tires can be a bit of a science depending on your setup (i.e. staggered vs square), and drivetrain. Then you can also take in to account wear, amount of wheel weights, damage etc. oh, and if you"re running directional tires then that adds another variable you must consider.. For example, directional tires (only meant to rotate in one direction) on a staggered setup - you should not be rotating corners at all (unless you are pulling rubber)seing as you"re in this subform I am going to assume you are running a square setup.. FWD.While you can follow a specified rotation pattern (google tire rotation patterns), you may be best served to take the two best tires (provided they have similar wear) and put them on your drive wheels.
